Him Electronics commissioned a 30KW Solar PV Minigrid system at Binabathhi, Dilasaini, Baitadi, a project initiated by the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, Sudur Paschim. Under the project, Him Electronics installed 96 Solar Panels with a collective capacity of 31.68 kW. Backed up by 24kW (3x8kW) hybrid solar inverters and 144kWh of battery bank capacity (72 nos. of batteries 2V/1000Ah gel type). The project also included the overall infrastructure setup for the 3-phase distribution line that extends to 3.5km from the solar plant site with 92 GI Telescopic poles installed throughout the route to support the distribution. The 3-phase distribution line supports 124 households for electricity supply plus two mills operation in the area. A lightning protection system is also installed as required to protect the infrastructure. The electricity generation can be monitored through network with the inverter installed with remote control and management feature through network. Binabathhi is a town in the Dilasaini RM of the Baitadi district. The Dilasaini RM and a local consumer cooperative will collectively manage and operate the minigrid. The project concluded successfully with electricity in every household around the region that lights up 750 units of 5 Watt Himstar LED bulbs distributed in the project. 25 Watt Himstar LED Street lights has made the critical roadway in the region brighter during nights. We are very much thankful and proud to be involved in a project that is for greater good. We are very much hopeful that the entire project would contribute in the improvement of the quality of life of people in the area.
